Playing at Clarion Alley Tomorrow, Saturday October 21

Hi All! The Basementals are excited to play tomorrow, Saturday, October 21st. We go on at 1pm, at the Clarion Alley Mural Project Block Party. We hope to see you there! The party runs from 11am - 11pm. There will be many live bands and DJ's in addition to the viewing pleasure of the murals. Come on out and enjoy the art and music! We go on first, so don't be late to get your Basementals on. This is also likely the last Basementals performance in 2016 and we will be debuting a new song, so, in case you haven't heard this already, come out and have some fun with us!

The occasion is the Clarion Alley Mural Project block party annual fundraiser. This is the 24th annual return of the party and it's a great time - a classic San Francisco experience not to be missed! Here's a little background on the event. Clarion Alley Mural Project's (CAMP) mission is to support and produce socially engaged and aesthetically innovative public art as a grassroots community-based, artist-run organization based in San Francisco. CAMP’s vision is to be a space where culture and dignity speak louder than the rules of private property or a lifestyle that puts profit before compassion, respect, and social justice. Through cooperation with the local residents and property owners of Clarion Alley, local artists use the urban landscape to produce amazing and unique art for public consumption. This annual block party raises funds for the paint used to maintain and develop the art in the Alley.
