Well whaddya know!?  The Basementals are playing a show.  Not only that, but The Basementals are putting on a show at The Pioneer, one of the first rooms we ever had the pleasure of playing.  Come out and hear some new tunes and some old faves in one of the Peninsula's best bars.

Saturday Feb/8, in honor of Primary Season, Beer Week, and the 100th anniversary of WOMEN'S SUFFRAGE:

Ferment Drink Repeat, The Basementals, The Robs, Matt Jaffe, Amalgamation, Splat!, and Edens Lost will be rocking the vote with The League of Women Voters, campaign fundraising*, and Beer!


This is a free & all ages event. Bring the whole fam and have fun flexing your political muscles.

Splat! 4:45-5:45pm
Amalgamation 6-7pm
Matt Jaffe 7:30-8:30pm
The Robs 9-10pm
The Basementals 10:30-11:30pm


*For the first time in a long time California will be voting in a meaningful primary, and now is the time to get organized. Thus we present a fundraising event for ALL of the Democratic Candidates. Just make an online donation ($10 minimum) to whatever campaign you want, using the computers we will have at FDR, and your donation will count as a "vote" for your candidate in the Rock and Roll primary. Whichever campaign gets the most "votes" will win all the tips and money that would normally go to the bands. There will only be one "winner" of the Rock and Roll Primary, but many candidates will benefit as they will receive numerous small-dollar donations -all you have to do is show up and give them money. All supporters will win because of the free rock and roll and the great beer!

On May 4th 2019, 8pm-1030pm, The Basementals will take over FDR*, where we'll party like Ewoks after the DeathStar is exploded.

It's been a rough few months with real life getting in the way of our rock and roll lifestyle, and we've had to miss a lot of good times, but this 3rd time's the charm and we are locked in.

And yes, it is Star Wars day for those that celebrate that kinda thing (or make fun of those that do).

Come dressed up. Or down. Or not at all. Just come out and have a good time and some good drinks with your band, The Basementals.
